We ordered this press to replace a 30+ year old Elna press that we have used at least five days a week for the past 30 years. Initially concerned that this newer product might not be as sturdy or effective as the old one, we were instantly reassured after a first use. It applies great pressure to your ironing, is easy to use, and produces a wonderfully pressed product. Of course, we can not vouch for its longevity at this point, but initial impressions are very positive and, if you want to put a great crease in your trousers, this is the item for you.

No Steam

When I started looking for a home steam board I had checked out more than a few so this is the one I chose still thinking I was viewing steam boards so I didn't mind paying the elevated price to get a better than good steam board but when I received it it didn't support a steam function at all (except a spray bottle) I ended up keeping it because I should have been paying closer attention to what I was viewing instead of assuming my search was going to just show me what I asked to see. All and all I'm better off because steam could create others issues with performance.

Great Iron

My mother had one of these for over 30 years and never had a problem. It finally gave out so the kids pitched in and bought her a new one. She was estatic. It's the only one she really wanted.
