convenient

Best to get this installed while your wall is still open. That is the best way to use this product as it's designed to fit between studs at standard depth. You can have an electrician wire it so you have electricity inside it. However I believe that may vary depending on the model you buy. At any rate, I mounted mine on the wall instead of in the wall and that works as well. I also did not wire it. When I use it the ironing board is sturdy and large enough . I don't iron often and this is a good way to get rid of your old ironing board but still have one when you need it.
