After 30+ years of ironing and many irons, I can say that this is my favorite and most durable brand. I used an earlier TFal prior to the Aquaspeed 155 for years until it finally quit on me. The earlier model had the gliding sole plate that eliminated scorching problems; this is what initially sold me on T-FAL. Compared to the earlier model, the newer 155 model can produce lots more steam that breezes through wrinkles and sets pleats. It can produce an extra burst of steam or spray for tough wrinkles or resistant fabrics. Although it can go through lots of water depending on setting selections, the large tank is easy to fill because the reservoir has a large mouth (we keep a large bottle of water nearby). My family feels comfortable ironing with the T-Fals for years now; I've enjoyed this benefit very much!:) As the children grew and moved away, each has sought out a T-Fal for their own personal use. Our entire family has enjoyed the features and dependability of t his iron and I confidently recommend it others.

A Great Iron!

I have used so many different brands throughout the years, even thinking that a higher priced iron meant a better iron. I finally found the T-Fal and bought the basic one. I loved it but kept forgetting to turn it off when I was finished. I bought this one with an auto-shutoff and couldn't be more pleased. I found the added features were great. Easy to fill the large well for steam and don't have to fill it as often.

This will surely be on my shopping list for this holiday season to give as gifts.

Great amount of steam, smooth gliding, works perfectly!

The iron does not have a shut off button, but shuts off automatically. Takes some getting use to the large sitting base.
