I doesn't sit flat as shown in the picture. I guess I could bend it but not worth the hassle. I have the standard board from WalMart if that help anyone make a decision.

It's handy

It's a very handy item to be used. It's easily detachable that's why it is handy, however at first, I thought that it can stay in my ironing board all the time but you have to detach it from the board every ime you will finish your ironing. Over- all I like this item, it is very handy and it's worth the price I must say it's a good investment though.

Fits perfectly

This is an inexpensive option to extend your iron. I bought the Panasonic cordless iron and needed a place to set the base unit. This works great.
