This item is well-padded, heat resistant, fits large boards, and works beautifully. The only caveat I would use to correct the description on-line is that the final step of peeling back the adhesive protector and affixing the cover to the board is a little tricky in order to get everything even. A warning and hints for proper alignment in the description might have helped make it easier. However, a little patience and insistence on even adhesion to the sides gave me a great surface for ironing.

I love this cover. It must be cut to size (or not depending on your wishes), but it is so nice and thick! and it covers my longer ironing board! What a treat. I love my bigger ironing board as I iron all my sheets and every inch helps, but it is difficult to find covers, forget a pad. The answer to my dilemma.
