dorm ironing board

I read mixed reviews before ordering this ironing board. I found that this board was very sturdy and more likely to stand up to dorm life. Yes the covering is thin and I could imagine the wire mesh showing thru when ironing. I removed the cover and put a layer of batting under the existing pad. It worked great and you can't feel the wire beneath.

I have been looking for a table-top ironing board like this style for forever. The height of the board makes it so easy to pull clothes over it.

Very nice portable item

This is a very nice portable ironing board, it folds flat, with a clip to hold it, comes with an over-the-door hanger, and an iron rest. It takes a bit of strength to pull out the iron rest, but it certainly doesn't fall out, getting in your way when you don't want it out. Nice size surface, lightly padded board; a person could find or make an additional cover if you want more padding, but it's fine as is.
